Ihsanullah ranks seventh in PSL history in terms of bowling statistics

Young bowler Ihsanullah made history in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). when Ihsanullah the right arm pacer returned from injury with the best bowling statistics in league history. In the third match of PSL 8 between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators right-arm bowler Ihsanullah demolished Quetta Gladiators' batting line. He take 5 wickets for just 12 runs in four overs.


The 20 year old bowler has the seventh best bowling statistics in PSL history as a result of his excellent performance. The right-arm pacer removed Jason Roy (27) and in-form Iftikhar Ahmed (0) on consecutive deliveries in his second over. After taking out Gladiators captain Sarfaraz Ahmed for just two runs in his first over.

Ihsanullah added two more wickets in his third over. He dismissed Naseem Shah and Umar Akmal. He secures his first five wicket total in the PSL. It's important to remember that when this story was submitted the Gladiators had trouble getting to 91/8 in 17 overs.


Ihsanullah bowled at a 144.37 kph average speed. He has surpassed the fierce PSL 7 performance by Qalandars pacer Haris Rauf against Peshawar Zalmi. when the latter bowled at an average speed of 144.16 kph. The lanky pacer in his first over took the wicket of Sarfaraz Ahmed.  He bowled at over 150 kph.


Ihsanullah took five wickets in his four overs. He only gave 12 runs to be scored. He contributed to his team's 110 run victory over the Quetta Gladiators. Naseem Shah, Mohammad Hasnain, and Wahab Riaz are the next three bowlers with the fastest four over spells (143.73 kph, 143.41 kph, and 143.33 kph, respectively).

Ihsanullah hit first in the sixth over. He dismissed the Gladiators' captain Sarfaraz Ahmed. In the eighth over Ihsanullah who was in excellent form took back-to-back wickets to further weaken the Gladiators, who were already facing trouble. Ihsanullah ordered Sarfaraz, Jason Roy, Umar Akmal, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Naseem Shah to put the Gladiators through a lot of stress.


Gladiators were down at 68-8 after 12.4 overs. In 17 overs Gladiators scored 92-8. Ihsanullah is a Pakistani cricketer who was born on 11 October 2002. He was chosen as a local player for the Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League draw for 2022. On  27 January 2022 he took the field in his debut Twenty20 game.


On 15 February 2023 while playing for Multan Sultans against Quetta Gladiators, he produced the second-best PSL spell with a 5-12 rating. With an average speed of 144.37 kph and a delivery that over 150 kph his period is also recognised as the fastest in PSL history. He surpassing Haris Rauf's against Peshawar Zalmi in the 2022 PSL, when his average pace was 144.16 kph.
